Be Educated Movement is Organizing a Indian Classical Bansuri Concert - Music for Education on Saturday, Nov 21st 2009 at YMCA South Brunswick 329 Culver Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852 from 4pm-7PM. Performance will be given by Legendry Flutist Mitch Greenberg and accompanied by Mahesh Gurugunti. ADMISSION IS FREE, however RSVP is recommended. Proceeds from this event�goes to add books to the existing Be Educated Libraries where the Syllabus has been changed.
Mitch Greenberg studied bansuri in Allahabad, Banaras, Calcutta and Chennai. His primary training was under Pt. Bhola Nath Prasanna, teacher of the famed flutist Hariprasad Chaurasia. Mitch has performed all over the U.S. in solo and group settings and his work has been broadcast nationally on CBS-TV and National Geographic documentaries.
