Be Educated Movement Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable purposes to promote the awareness of the education, literacy, science and health in India and other under developed or developing countries. This corporation is a nonprofit corporation and is organized exclusively for charitable purpose within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law. Notwithstanding any other provision of these articles, this corporation shall not carry on any activities not permitted to be carried on by an organization exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law. The Movement has started a program named 'Education Through Library' as the first step towards fulfilling its mission and objective. Special designed low budget (just $800) library will have about 300 books to serve 100 students of rural and slum area. Our target is to open 100 libraries worldwide in next five years. Who we are? Be Educated Movement Inc.('Movement') has been formed and organized, exclusively for charitable purposes, essentially to promote the awareness of the education, literacy, science and health in India and other developing countries. Corporation is incorporated in Delaware USA and has received Tax Exempt Status from the Internal Revenue Services (USA). We are not simply an organization, but rather a Movement. We would like to be associated and work together with the like-minded people who understand and support our mission, in order to take this movement to greater cause. What we are doing? One fifth of world population live in India and one third of that are below the poverty line. Naturally, many students from this segment lack even the very basic infrastructure. Right now, the Movement has chosen this country for its Pilot program called ‘Education Through Library’. We have opened a country office in INDIA and selected many volunteers to carry out the projects successfully. Our aim is to provide momentum to a beneficiary towards upward journey. Our Mission The mission of the Be Educated Movement Inc (“Movement”) is to build a well-educated society, through promoting awareness of the education,literacy, science and health in India and other developing countries and to provide equal opportunity to masses to help them attain and sustain development, and become responsible citizens. Our Vision To be the leader in spreading education through our library projects, maximizing the return on every dollar spent, devloping a more egalitarian sciety where no kid is left behind due to lack of resources. |
