May 4th 2019, Dover. The 12th Power of One, a joint effort of Dover’s Cultural Exchange and Be Educated Movement, raised over $11,500. All proceeds go to benefit local and global effort to promote arts, education, and create opportunities to disadvantaged youth. We are supporting Central Middle and Dover High school Arts & Dance programs through this effort.

Event was a great success and received tremendous support from local businesses and individuals. Miss Delaware, Mayor of Dover, along with over 150 guests gathered in this event to enjoy entertainment and food, sometime shown their commitment towards promoting education locally and globally. Dance group and Music performances stolen the heart of everyone’s.

Maria Ruffin of Dover’s Cultural Exchange thanks all sponsors, advertisers, Food and Drink sponsors, auction item donors and volunteers who helped to make this event success.

Proceeds go towards helping children in education, arts, and music. While supporting our local schools and organizations, we are also helping thousands of children in South Africa, Nepal, and India through the Be Educated Library program. Last year Be Educated started FutureGirlz program that focuses on Girl’s education and a portion of this year’s proceeds will be used to fund that program.
